2021 wins

Monday, December 27, 2021

As the end of the year approaches, I think we can all agree that 2021 was a chaotic year but not as chaotic as 2020. In 2021 I learned so much about growth and what it means to be human I've lost but I also gained new perspectives on friendships and everything that life has to offer. In life, we are always learning new ways for growth and new wins so instead of focusing on the losses I'm going to focus on the wins and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Career

- Had my first professional model photoshoot with Sophie elgort on the mask poritate series it was the first time I worked with Sophie on a photoshoot and I loved every minute of it. iI shared my story on how covid affected me it will be on her website and you can find my photoshoot photos on my Instagram @livinglifewithstephanie.

- Relaunched my web blog -

Living life with Stephanie first started as a web blog back in 2012 when I was just 14 and had no idea this would become my job or I would fall in love with writing. In 2020 during the pandemic, I suffered depression and shut down the site and reopened the site in 2021. I'm very happy to have relaunched the new rebranded living life with Stephanie.

-Building my blog- My blog living life with Stephanie is not just a web blog but it's a blog on different platforms such as Instagram and I'm currently expanding the blog into TikTok. I've also launched a second blog dedicated to yoga and fitness on Instagram @stephanie.yogi which I'm planning to expand to TikTok as well.

Freelance writing-I'm working on more freelance writing and I'm loving it as a writer.

Social media manager- I've been building my professional growth of becoming a social media manager and not just for my own brand.

Life

Ive struggled with depression this year as we hit the second year of the global pandemic. The thought of wishing life could go back to normal in a snap when it'll take more than a year for the pandemic to end and for life to be normal. Even once we do go back to normal it will be a new normal and not like before the pandemic. if there is one thing i learned is that we are all in this together and together we can become invisible.  i also found love in ways i could have never imagined and learned a lot of lessons from it and the most important thing its never gonna be easy. Ive also learned a lot through self-development the thing is we don't know 100 percent who we are and that's ok. Part of life is going threw experiences and making mistakes and doing dumb shit along the way. Theres so much of life to learn in 2022 and its time for a new chapter.

what are your wins for 2021? i love to hear your comments xoxo-Stephanie.

Implenting self-improvement strategies in your life

Saturday, November 6, 2021

When I started blogging about self-improvement strategies this year I did it as a form to help others and it was in my personal way of healing from my own depression. I never intended my blog to turn to help others using self-improvement strategies through look books and quotes. When I saw how it was helping others I added that as part of my blog. When it comes to self-improvement it's very important to implement these strategies in your life and not just when you are depressed. If it's ok to love others but you gotta remember to love yourself first. In life, once you start living for yourself and not others you become a happier and better person. You can learn new things about yourself such as trying something new or visiting a new place exploring life and trying new things. One of the things I learned in the past two weeks through this journey is I need to know it's ok to say no and don't be afraid to say no. Growing up I have had a hard time saying no I didn't want to hurt anyone or fear of hurting their feelings. I've also learned I'm into art and that in days I take time for myself no friends, or hanging out with people it clears my head and allows me to feel happier in my skin and not lash out at people. Aside from getting a therapist who might help you implement self-improvement strategies you can try these strategies mentioned in the blog post. These strategies are not only for people who are depressed but simply are trying to better themselves.  We are always involving and it's ok to not know 100 percent who you are. An English teacher once taught me that you don't always know who you are and that's ok. I'm 23 and still don't know 100 percent who still to figure my shit out being in my mid-twenties and learning more about life each day.  Here are the self-improvement strategies that helped me out during this year.

1) setting goals

2) Building productive habits

3) Taking time for myself

4) Taking care of my body -this one is a big one I gained 13 pounds this year.

5) Removal of negative thoughts- doubt, fear, or bitterness I learn to not carry hate over anyone!

let me know if you are working on self-improvement strategies I love to hear your comments-xoxo-Stephanie

I had the honor of receiving a scholarship ticket to BlogHer biz at the one hotel at Brooklyn bridge. This was my second event with blog her and it was great after eighteen months to be doing this again. I learned so much at BlogHer biz and made some amazing connections with women like me trying to grow their business. Here are some photos from the event. I have videos on my Instagram feed from the cocktail party. I love attending these kinds of events they are helpful for people who get educated on how to grow their business.

Hosting Drama league awards red carpet

Posted byStephanieMay 22, 2018Posted inUncategorized

Hi everyone, and I hope you’re all having a lovely day so far and full of sweetness.
When it comes to being a blogger is not as easy as it looks and seems there is a lot of planning
and things to be able to be great content and joy for the readers and fans and the many people who
support blogs that make blogs possible. I got the pleasure to host my very first red carpet event as not only as a blogger but as a company representing Living life with Stephanie. It was the first time I got to experience a red carpet event and have the joy that comes it. I tried hosting the 2016 VMAs back when it was my home city Manhattan but instead came home upset of how hard I work on my blog yet saw other people wearing fancy clothing and being like hey why isn’t that me in that white gown? Since then, I realized that I was starting, and sometimes you have to push the world so they can see the fantastic bumblebee that you are. When I emailed the director of the drama league community regarding the red carpet event for the drama league awards, I never expected an email right back. I got a straight yes and welcome letter to host the red carpet awards for the drama league awards. I’m not going to lie; I never really noticed the Broadway community despite living in NYC. When mean girls on Broadway came out and started doing reviews, I got a warm welcome from the Broadway community and realized they could help me not only in Broadway but in other jobs and get my face known in the world.! In a mini recap of the drama league awards at my favorite hotel, the Marriott in times square. They were many stars, and I pretended like I knew all of them when I only knew the cast of mean girls Broadway and Andrew Garfield, who’s currently starring in angels of Broadway and stared in one of my favorite movies the social network. I got to see many other publicists as well as do press with mac makeup !. Aside from the red carpet, the plastics from mean girls Broadway Taylor Kate and Ashley held the actual event. Which was like a dream filled with tables and fancy white decor with fantastic food. I had a great time being with Broadways biggest stars. You can go to broadway.com to purchase tickets to see a broadway show, and don’t forget if you notice any of them comment below which musical do you? I love to hear your comments until next time love you xoxo-Stephanie
